mid/tweeter questions

Post by kg1961 »

i bought a nib set of ranbow audio extreme kicks with 2 set of 6.5 mids. there was a problem in shipping and are on the way accross the world
so with a small budget $200and under i need 6.5-6.75 set that can handle my power of the tantrum 500.2 what would you use. i listen to rap and dance so good mid bass
let me know if you see a link if you have a set for sale ect

these are going in my q form kick pods on the floor so im not to worried if they are deep or not
on ebay seen some zr sets, rsd but more than they have been worth
i up for other brands

the best sounding mid bass would have been from my boston pro60 or my focal k2 than my jl xr than higher end mb back in the day
let me know
and now kicking myself for sell my clarion sss601 sets
thanks

mid/tweeter questions

Post by 00goobs »

I've read decent reviews on the Alpine type S, and better of the type R. Maybe you could find a set cheapish.

I do agree that when I bought my 6.5RSDc, they were $89 + shipping. I've been looking for a set earlier this year and they were around $180+ and shipping. I read these were a great bang for the buck and bought 2 sets when they were cheap, hehehe.

Maybe while you're waiting on the rainbow set, you could test out the 3" widebands on the dash and 8" midbass in the kicks to hold yourself over...

if you like more midbass up-front, why not go with some oversized 6.5"
