Was just digging through my closet and found this lying there my first PG amp I learned ALOT!!! Off of this amp and I thought I would share some pics with you fellas.

I'm in hopes of finding a new top plate as you can see the one on mine is not in the best condition but she still performs flawless
Not only was this my first pg amp it was part of my first system I remember all those times I tried re wiring my subs for the best sound now I how to get it installed for my mids and tweets

Don't use it and sell it to me for parts. Read on...
First off you'll need to replace the caps on the right front under the plexi window or you'll risk further damaging the amp.
After you find out its more than you want to deal with you can sell it to me for spare parts. : )

Can you further explain the cap repacement as I opened it up today and never saw any signs of leaks like on others I have seen on the phorum no sign of corrosion on the board if I missed it please point it out so I know what to look for on other amps

I will take it apart again tonight and add more pix cuz I don't see any of that electrolytic fluid the article mentioned and showed plus the person I bought it from had it sit for 7-8 yrs and I've not used it for probably a year and a half it just got beat cosmetically by the previous owner but iwill look again.

You're missing the point bud, regardless if you see fluid or not, just due to age its highly recommended to replace the caps.

most dont see it untill their car burns to the ground....good luck

Ok thanks for the info fellas I.guess I will hold on to it until I.can have the caps professionaly replaced amp has too much sentimental value and I dont want the amp to burn up
