It’s the biggest POS! I can’t believe you wasted your money on that pile o shit! Everyone lets point at him while we laugh ahh haa haha ………
Seriously though it’s a great amp if it wasn’t abused. The biggest point of failure in that series would be the capacitors. As with age they deteriorate and leak electrolytic fluid on the board and cause shorts and other bad things like burnt holes in the main board ect..
In short replace the caps right from the start and it should give you years of service.
Btw I see you are a DUB man you shall fit in well here.

ok well the guy who sold it 2 me (and i know i should believe him right away) told me that he was the first owner and only used it in his showcar.. wich i've seen a couple of times and i now for a fact that this car did not come out a lot so the amp is in a mint condition
it looks like that 2 but we will see haha
ow and i'm a dub man alright.. i eat, sleep and live VW hahah
you should check out my other topic

That's a great amp, the black one that you have is pretty rare too.
That amp highly underrated, it'll probably run your entire system.
As Mastiff mentioned, the input caps really should be replaced, they tend to leak due to old age.

ok so really something to keep in mind
i was actually thinking to get another amplifier
my ideal setup would be 1 amp for my subs and onde for my component set and my coaxial speakers (also octane R)
but we'll see
but is ist really as powerfull as they say??

Nee, ik ben Canadees, maar mijn vader en zijn hele familie zijn Nederlanders. Ik ga daar dus vaak heen, want ik heb ook twee paspoorten
Nu in het Engels zo dat anderen verstaan kunnen...
That amplifier is quite strong. You can run your front composet off of the front channels, and run your subwoofer bridged on the rear. Leave the rear coaxials powered off of your headunit, and you will have a nicely balanced setup with a surprising amount of bass, especially if you buy an LPL, which lets you adjust the volume of the subwoofer from the front.
I actually power my entire stereo off of the very same amplifier. With the right subwoofers and proper power wiring, you can have enough power to flex the windows, while powering your front components. Rear fill needs to be very quiet (I turn it off if there are no back passengers), so it goes perfectly off of the headunit.

haha oow ok butt i agree that we should continue in english haha
well think i'll try that then.. my subs bridged on the rear and so on...
the guy who sold it to me told me it was a high end amplifier.. but i did'nt realize i would be this great hahaha
we'll see.. i'm thinking of doing the wiring all over with a new set and see if i can get the a nice and think main power wire so i'll have enough power to feed the amp
i'll also be installing a powercap or condensator i don't know how you guys call it ....
it's a 10 farad high end powercap and it looks nice to
so we'll see waht happens when i hook it all up

Make sure you run at LEAST 4 gauge wire to the amplifier. I run 2 gauge into mine.
