About EQ 215ix

Post by locoluis30 »

Hello! On my current set up .my 30 band eq Orion concept 97.2 burned out and I want to replace it with a PG 215ix purchased a while back. I need to know if being a 2way crossover would affect my set up which goes like this: From the head unit to the 215ix(to be added) from there to a 5 band rotary parametric EQ/crossover from here Front/ Rear /Sub outputs to Sub and voice amplifiers. If able to do so.should I use the Highpass only from the HU? Thanks much!

If you use the HP out of the H/U you may run into no LP in the system. If you run full range out of the radio you should be fine.

how many ways does the eq/cross over split the signal up into? You might be able to go with out it and just use the IX And the deck.
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

Yeh well. Im refunding a dude so its up for sale anyways. I wanted it for the eq . The reason I was gonna use the sub out was for the eq on the sub channels and the lpl44.

Its no biggie. They come along fairly often. It just kinda sucks that aside form the little bit of rust this one looks almost new.

Thanks! Sorry I meant the Highpass on the EQ215ix not the HU. Also the Eq/crossover splita Sub Rear Front.Got to use this piece to tweak with the knobs up front.
