Elite.1 Strapping to dual 2 ohm sub?

Is it possible to strap two Elite.1 amplifiers together with a dual two ohm sub wired at 4 ohms? The manual doesn't give much info on this, just states a minimum of a 2ohm load. If this would work what is the actual power output I would expect? Trying to achieve around 5-6000WRMS.
Also if you have a diagram that would be great!

well a dual 4 wired in paralled will net a 2 ohm load to the amp.

The reason I'm asking, I have a custom built TC LMS Ultra that is a d2 and they are not available in a d4. Even if they were available in a d4 I believe the amplifiers would output too much power for this driver @ 2ohms.

This would work fine. Two Elite.1's strapped into 4 ohms would be about 5000 watts.
Check the manual for the diagram. Just wire the voice coils in series on the woofer.

So if I have this correct...
Sub wired in series.
Link the two positives from one amp to the VC with the open positive terminal on the sub.
Link the two positives from the other amp to the VC with the open negative terminal on the sub.
Link both negatives on each amp together.
Also, just wondering if the Elite.1's built to the same standards as the other Elite models or is it just another class d amplifier in the same chassis that matches the line up.
Thank You!
