hello everyone i have 2 m50 redone by ericd
i have 2 jl audio 12w0-4v2 ported box
but i have a chance to trade them for a set of old school kicker 10" solobaric s10d they are used and old cardboard is is coming off the surround like alot of old subs but???
i want clean but still loud they will be matched up with a new set of pg ti 6.5 mid/tweeter of a m25 and clarion drz9255 deck

info likes dis likes loud or clean ect please
i have till tomorrow to make the call or spend a tad bit more and get a set of 10" old school soundsteam ssr10

I would think the w0 would be more efficient with power of the m50. I haven't heard a solobaric that I liked, so I am a bit biased...

jl for kicker? I would never do it. Besides next week you will find something else nice that you will like.

I'm an fan of old kicker subs but I will tell you this. When the solo baric first came out I ran down and bought one built a .88 box and strapped my Orion Hcca250 to it. I thought for sure I had a bad ass combo until I turned it on. The output was just not there but they did have good sound quality and I switched back to my c12a.

on a side note. i sold my clarion dvd deck that was to be a big package deal but the guy only had the cash for the deck. so i might be using my tantrum amps and treo sub yet we will see.I just hate people grind you for a large package price and than only pick up a small amount. to bad he had to pay my first asking price on that then.

I get my new tail light and brake on my car this weekend so things are starting to come along.

almost got my bad dudes arcade machine fixed with new player one/two buttons, new glass cover new rubber end bezel the rubber itemsthat go up and down the front side of the wood and i just got a new power supply but have not installed it yet..

Just wondering, your planned setups always seem very interesting. What do you have in the works now? What do you have for sale/trade and what are you looking for? Always interesting to see/hear what gear passes through you, hehehe....

again things have changed. i mount my 770 7" montitor today at work , im going to use my clarion dxz9255 and clarion dvd changer
as for speaker im going to try my clarion SRU 1720m mid/tweeter the mid are like subs so i hope they sound great. for now im going to install 2 clarion 2 channel amps 90x2 and 320x1 to a jl 15w0-4 first gen.

so that leaves me with a tantrum 300.2,500.2 and 1200.1 2 set of end caps and oem 3 pg 8" neon kits, lpl44 used and 2 treo ssi12.22 subs
i might have some more gear but not sure as of yet

It's like a soap opera, always something... Just checking, I was hoping for an M series powered build or something. I've read great things about the treo subs.

I bought db custom m amp and was ready for that but they got stolen i was told so he refunded me and i went another way
if you want the treo let me know im sure we can work something out

Alright, I only saw the sold to me post... Sorry to hear about the deal turning out that way. I have a bunch of M series and am always looking to see other people's builds. I am trying to pick up on enclosure design, your post for box help made me think more about efficiency in the sub/bass department. I still have a cyclone that needs an enclosure, hehehe...

Thanks for the possible trade on the treo. I am still using a pair of 10w3v2s sealed and am surprised on their output. I am trying to think of a cool enclosure on my pair of rsdc 12s, so you're asking all the right questions for me too, thanks...
