someone with a box building program please chime in
i own and have had 2 jl audio 15w0 v1 subs. i had on in a 1.70cub seal box off 150watt and it sounded great

can some fine the best size (smaller) sealed that would not have a huge drop in db's. i would like to add fiber fill to save room also
please let me know what you have come up with as im trying to fit 2 in my civic sedan trunk
i have about 32"across 16"high and can do about 12-14" deep

here are the number for my sub 4ohm

sorry never used a program before what would i do to show a smaller box to see how the sub would work in it

what i would like to do is find the smallest box sealed that will only be a couple db less than the 2.5cub sealed and still get good output

i modeled the v1 15w0 isobaric and in a 3cuft sealed the f3 is about 36hz and reaches xmax at 22hz with 400w total. just did another one in a 6th order isobaric bandpass with a 2.5cuft rear chamber tuned to 30hz and a 1.5 front chamber tuned to 60hz you have an almost 6db gain from about 40hz to 70hz with a 1.5 db dip around 50hz. this should she plenty loud enough.

www.PWKDESIGNS.COM either buy his plans or have him "Pete" make it. CAD designed with his proprietary software Plans are like 50 bucks. He truly is 1 of the best in the world in enclosure design.

while a box certainly makes a big difference in output its decisions like this that I just like to build a nice sealed box and let my bass cube make any adjustments for what I feel it lacks.

I've heard a 6" sub in a transmission line box hit harder than a ported 10" w3v2, so I think there is some magic involved somewhere. I would like to know what are the popular modeling software out there for us to use.
