Got myself a power source 75 amp Power supply and was wondering were would be the best place to connect it to. I was thinking where the alternator connect to on the battery isolator. Is that a good place?

well if it is only going to run the stereo and not any part of the car(factory wise) you would be better off to connect it after the isolator directly to the system battery. This would still leave the starting battery untouched so that it could start otherwise you will be charging/discharging both batteries when running the charger and stereo.

just a bit of input here for your, the best connection that I have found for doing this is the connectors that are used for electric welding cables- they are cam loc connectors, nice thick brass fixtures, and insulated real well so you dont accidently short anything and 2 pairs of them can be had for less than 20.00 shipped- I have 2 kinetik 80 amp supplies, and have now made a couple of different connection places on my install- previous had just used jumper clamp connections, and always worried about them falling off, touching the frame, blah,blah- I can send you a picture of what they are, if you dont know what I am talking about
