not like yer gonna be able to hide it really why not go with the dash's design and make a polished aluminum ring to try and match the rings around the gauges?

Otherwise why not move it up on top of the dash in the corner? Lay down some tape/foil and then glass that corner. Take that shape out and then mount the speakers ring to it, glass that and.....
what else can I say I am a grumpy asshole most of the time.

That is a huge trim ring, is there any way to strip it down to just the tweeter?

i could trim them down a little but cutting a $250 tweeter is not something i want to do. i needed a tweeter to play down to 2000hz or less thats why a got these.

have you test played them there??? i would have guessed they would be very bright on axis
they would prob be better firing up from the dash or the corners of the screen off axis

Your imaging won't be great with the tweet on-axis so close to your ear on the drivers side, and off-axis on the passenger side. I'd agree with using dash, A-pillar or even kickpanel locations. Expensive tweeters are no good if they aren't installed properly!

you could still built the pods in the corner of the windshield but just have them cross-firing.
