rmd wire

What is the technical name of the wire that plugs into the rmd and a good place to find it? Mistakenly thought it was just a standard phone cable and forgot... Its the wire from the old wired-phone to the handset right?

damnit I didn't realize how bad I was dating myself by first off going into an electronics store and asking for "phones, no land lines". Each time I was directed to the back corner of the store in some small poorly lit area then to make it 3x as bad by telling them I need the handset-cord - the cord that goes from the base to the handset? I almost thought I was going to have to break it down into hand signals - "You remember when they were attached, even after they rotary phone I swear".....

Have you tried RadioShack or Lowes? I don't know the tech name for the plug either, but I have had good luck finding such phone cords at Lowes in the home wiring dept.

yea I got it, took some looking and had to buy a 12 ft cable when I need a foot but we all know how that goes.
