Bass Cube problem.... not about the remote, lol

So i have a few Bass cubes (3) and i do have a working remote. My issue is one of them is missing the outer contact on the L input RCA. Can i just slide a new or spare piece over the plastic or should i replace the whole RCA lead?

They are all a little different. One Ti, 2 white. One has black screening, the other grey. Its funny how they differ from screw type to case shape.

One is significantly rougher than the rest but since my entire system is old school, with no Ti, i wish to run 2 white cubes (multiple sub amps) to a line splitter, then a single remote. Would this work? :hmm:

The outer metal part is how the ground reference signal/shield is received by the device. You can probably try sliding it back on, but those jacks are very inexpensive and pretty simple to remove/replace so I would just replace it. Some googling and a few practice runs with the soldering iron should have anyone able to do it.

Sweet, thanks guys

I have found a guy with 30 years soldering experience to do the burning on my caps so i think im going to go that route. it will be alot faster with less chance of screwing a board. Pretty reasonable as well. Ill just throw this in the pile, lol.
