Hell yeah! That would probably sound good as hell and be plenty loud too. But it won't power the subs to their absolute limit if that's what you're asking.

the xmax 10 is rated at about 350W rms

so you're setup will work indeed, will even be better with a basscube,

but if you want the best out of you're subs, you need a second M100

(without bass cube)

just listen one time to the m100 on two Xmax brigded at 2ohm mono and you'll hear the difference...

Thanks guys ! I'm gonna try that, I don't have another m100 yet but I do have a bass cube.

the basscube will do a lot !!... when you see the red clipping led light up, even short, turn the gain little bid back until it

doesn't light up anymore.....

This is along the same lines as my planned system. I have a pair of M100s to run either 4 12" Xmax or 2 12s and 2 15s if i can find a pair. Also putting in a route 66.

I have done 4 10" Xmax in the past run off of 2 QX 2180 and a Bass cube. It had quite a kick but the M100s should be alot more power.

When we get our systems all installed we should meet up and compare. See whos is louder and swap tech tips :D

Be careful with the Xmax V1 models....they have a very high inductance and when you go at 2ohm brigded and pound very hard,

you could damage you're amp.....for that reason they reduced the coil to a lower value in the V2 version.....with the V2 models

no problem with this.... I don't state it WILL happen, but it CAN happen.....a warned men is worth 2......

without pics a little bid difficult to explain. the V2's have more rubber on the carbon.

if you upload pics i see directly. another thing is if you have a dmm, for (12inch)

V1 you will measure a coil resistance of about 3.9 ohm, for V2 it is lower, about 3.3 ohm.

i have both versions in 12 inch at home.

Good to know. Thanks for the heads up. The 10s i used to run came from a few different places but the one real noticeable difference between them was 3 of them had 4 mounting screw holes and the 4th had eight. I thought that strange but was the only physical difference i could see.

Ok now, we have recently discovered that a line driver with an alpine deck may not be the best thing for am m series amp. (scrapping the 6 channel line driver) How about power wise? I was planning to run m50 X 2 and the m100 off of the 15f power core, Is this too much input for these amps or can they take it all day ?

@ttocs, Yes a battery would be better than a cap

I wouldnt think so. As far as i remember, they are power hungry little buggers. Especially in multiples at 2ohm.
Anyone ever have any problems?

These amps run low ohms I had a M50 hooked up for a little while running 10 front door speakers and 2 rear door speakers and 2 in the rear deck all at the same time and it didnt shut off. At the moment the zpa.3 and the zx450 has taken its place...
