I was wondering if anyone could help me out with some info on this subs? I would like to build them a box but have no info of them. I tried Google but didn't find much on them, I email Soundstream but didn't hear back from them yet. I just picked up a second TI800.1 and would like to do 2 of them on each TI800.1 @ 2ohm.
Soundstream Rubicon 12 single 4 ohms voice coil, I'm picking up 4 of them for a good price.
Here are pictures of them.
Thanks

I always wanted to try some of these rubicon subwoofers. I believe they were one one the last USA built subs just like the rubicon amps that were out around the same time.
Thanks

Here is a link to an old ebay auction for a 12 inch.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-Old-School ... 7675.l2557
Has some info that might help ya.
Model- R-12SQ
Sealed Box Size- 1.0 cubic feet
Ported Box Size- 2.0 cubic feet
Tune Freq.- 29 Hz
# of Ports- 1
Port (dia x length)- 4" x 16.5"
The stuff up above is what I pulled from the SS DISCONTINUED section of owners manuals. The rubicon was just a downloaded one so I couldn't paste a link on here. I think this is what you would need.

Sealed they call for .75 to 1.5 FT^3
Ported they call for 1.5 to 3 FT^3
I'm going to build a box and use two TI800.1 to power them.

This is what I'm thinking for a box.
The first box is made of two boxes each are 4.44ft^3 net @32Hz
The second box is 11.54ft^3 net @32Hz
Just not sure on what box I'll make yet.

This is the box I'll be building soon. Now I just have to find where I'll put the 3 amps.

Looks good,
What if you angle the 800's up the sides and mount the 475 on top in the middle.

I have no room on the side of the box to mount the amps, maybe I could do that on the back of the box. I think I'm removing one seat on the 3rd row and re-installing the second captain chair on the 2nd row. So I should have room on the back of the box for 2 amps.

I was thinking all three amps on top of the box. But angling the two outside amps to make all three fit.

So I understand you right install the 475 in the middle and have it facing the rear, the one 800 on each side facing the side windows? I figure that what you meant by on the sides.
