Anybody make fan shrouds for m100/44/50/25

Post by todd131 »

Hi!

I have 2 m44s and a set of fans for both of them but no shrouds. There must be a way to easily fabricate them and I didn't want to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks for the space and any input!

Happy thanksgiving!

I had one made for my outlaw, cost $50. at the metal shop used a m50 shroud for the template and the measurements of the amp with a window to show the tag.

Starunit, which shop did you use? Local?
I am looking at having one bent up that covers all 3 of my amps at once. I would prefer not to have to buy a shroud just to get measurements off of it though.

The dimensions are the same but there are a different number of screw holes. The M100 has 3 and the 44 has 4. Could be the other way around but i'm pretty sure it is the way i have described it.

Sorry have been busy L N L, I have my pic's just gotta re size them, The metal shop I used was way out in Mennonite country. But I have a shroud you can borrow to have a custom one made up! I switched jobs recently and am in Cambridge 5 days a week, I was wondering if Metal Supermarket can make these ? they are on franklin and sheldon. They have the add on dave fm boasting custom bends and cut's. any piece any size, I think its worth a shot ! What do you think ?

Shit man, Metal Supermarket is like 5 minutes from my house! I thought they just sold stock but if they advertise bends, they most likely can handle it. I guess i should stop in and ask some questions. The shop in Mennonite country wouldnt be Reist welding would it? I had them re-sleeve a hydraulic cylinder for a truck i used to have.

I am looking into a connection for some laser cutting. I know he does it, just not sure if he does one offs or not. I would like to laser out some PG logos in my shroud, but because it will be so long, i think 2 or 3 logos will be needed.

Your shrouds look great. I hope mine turns out that good. I have never seen a shrouded outlaw before but that blue might be real hard to match. If you could loan me one to use for measurement purposes, i would be in your debt sir.

Now i just need to find a right side fan, lol.
