Elite.65cs

Post by J.Wright »

Hello all, well since I have some Elite amps coming to me I was thinking about using the .65cs speakers as well...

Just curious what your thoughts are in the set if you've personally heard or used them.

Thanks so much !

The Elite line is so new that not many people have them yet. I'm personally looking forward to getting the Elite sub as soon as I have the coin for one. You may be the first to get and review on here.

I know they are pretty new, just hoping someone would be able to provide some input...

I have a set of Dynaudio currently slated to install.

They where freakin awsome, i compare these to the high end hertz milli. However these guys sound better in a car door than a soundboard

Yeah i first heard them on a sound board, thats why i decided to getthe ti instead, well i have changed my mind since i heard them in two different vehicals, at the shop i work for pt, and have decided to get the elites, instead of doing custom door panels for two sets of ti's...now its just the matter of where im gonna get the elite money...lol

Both application where running off a cd player, not an amp, but i imagine they will sound twice as good on an amp. My exile 600.4 just took a crap on me, and i can tell the difference in sq from the amp to just the hu, on the ti's, and yeah im saving for an elite4 amp as well.

And fyi the elite 12 freaking pounded on the track woofer cooker, and im still not done playing with it to offer my full opinion on it. I think i need to build a ported spl box

I tried out the new elite tweets. And they are in my opinion better sounding than the old ti elite tweeters.

It looks like I am going to be getting two sets for my install, but that looks to be a month or two out from now. They'll be running off of an Elite.5 amp, so I figure they'll absolutely scream.
Being loud without good sound quality is pointless, but having good sound quality without being loud is also pointless.

There's a review of them in the PA&S this month. It's posted on their sure too.
"ZPA's will have the same sound essentially as you get from the MS, they just feature a bigger shinier set of balls."
