I just took out the 12s and tried the 13s. Let me start by saying wow. JL 13 w6 d4 subs are so loud. They are the best of both worlds. The JL 13s hit hard like mojo 12s and drop lower than sundown sa-15s. They blow away the 4 12w3 subs I just took out in every way. I would like to say the two 13w6 hits as good as 3 memphis mojo 12s in a perfect vented box would be the best I can describe. The box they are in are in is about 2 qf larger than spec. I'am sold out on the JL 13w6 subs and going to get 2 more.

Two phoenix gold mps 2500 bridged at 2 ohms. One to each sub. Its so clean sounding and painful at the same time. I'am so glad that phoenix gold made such a good quality amp. Who needs anything more? The gain is a 1/4 way and the subs are about to blow up. I use the audiocontrol 3.1 in the dash and a eqx for the the mids and highs. The best subwoofer crossover I say is this memphis 16-cx35. I have the sub out from the 3.1 going into the rear input and the 45hz bass boost on. It blows away the eqx on the lows. Signal going into the phoenix gold amps is very important. Whatever you put in you get out.

Feed those more power and look out. You have about 500 rms to each sub right now on those amps and they pound. I have a pair of the same subs with 1200 rms on each sub at 2 ohms and they flat out pound out the low end, loud and clear. They have a 750 watt rms rating per sub but so far so good if you dont crank the crap out of them with this much power.

I havent heard the 13, but I have a 12 and like it very much... not as much as my 12W7s though. Those with a Ti1200.1 on them sound pretty dang good (~1000rms at 3 ohm).
