Dumb question/query here but running one of these at 8 ohm shouldnt be a problem right?? A full 2 or 4 ohm load (1400+ watts)in my hatchback may cause cardiac arrest

not much power out of it but it will not hurt the amp. might under power the speaker which can be bad but as long as you keep the signal clean it should not be a problem.

No problem. Will drive around 700w-800w RMS at 8 ohms.

Thanks for posting this! I plan on running this amp at 6 ohms with my JL 12w6's. I was wondering how much power I'd get.
Would it be bad to run this amp at a 1.5 ohm load?

1.5 ohms is a BAD idea. Stick to around 4 ohms or a little higher if possible.

Well ....not really ...Valeks still has some of the Tri-Path chips / BGA's, but not many.
