i need a sub small 10" sealed or ported box if 4ohm it need to run off 460 watt and if 2 ohm i have 850 on tap. one of the loudest single 10" i have played with that i liked was a ported first gen hcca off a hcca 275 second gen or a h2 ported off a tantrum 1200.1.
i was wondering with new subs ect what will hit super hard sound great for rap and work with my power.
also i have had a type r in a small sealed maybe i should try it ported. sealed i like it but didn't have the output i liked

If you are looking at SPL type subs, the Digital Designs 2500 series, or RE SXX would be the first ones i'd look at in that order. For SQ, if money is no object, the Morel Ultimo is probably the best sounding sub out there, and can take your power.

Money is a problem. Im looking for a less expensive driver

so i picked up a ported box will try that today

put the sub in and with only a little tuning it sounds great. im very very happy with the output
