SO ... What's the real "power" coming from the MS2125?

Here i am a real NEWBIE to the entire PG realm...
I'm eye-ballin' a MS2125 - thinking about buying it.
Don't know much about them BUT i'm seeing so many diehard fans here.
What can one expect from this amp? Running it on subs?
I'm set on a pair of 8" Alpine type R - due to realestate issues, so PLEASE don't kick my balls!!!
I've NOT yet picked up the subs so i can go DVC4 or DVC2 ...
HELP!!!

It will do 500+ watts RMS all day long bridged @4ohm and sound very respectable doing it.
With some extra cooling and proper electrical supply you can go bridgeg @2ohm and get 1kW peaks.
These amps need to be serviced before installing them. The power supply caps leak if they haven't been replaced yet.

my last one benched (ms2125)
2 x 157W rms at 4 ohm stereo
1 x 523W rms at 4 ohm mono.
no measurement done at 2 ohm, but i'm guessing it will do indeed between 700 -750w rms.
please forget about the 1K rms .....that is a farytale.......

Any input as to running it 2ohm per channel on these little 8" subs??

adds some fans and make sure it in a well ventilated area.

on 2 ohm stereo you will get around 250w rms i'm guessing....
if you want to put the 8inch in the doors i would work with a 2 ohm load stereo... and to keep the stereo effect.......
