I own like new clarion amps a dpx1851 mono amp 460watt rms 4ohm and a apx2181 90x2 4ohms

now my question is if I was to use a x600.1 and a x100.2 would there be any difference in my sound?


I know my subs will be getting 250 watt plus more but will it be worth changing. if I do for my wifes car I don't need to buy a line level unit. in my car I have a jl clean sweep dsp so im fine with the pg set up

with that being said what are the thoughts on the 2011 pg ti 6.5cs mid/tweeter set up vs my clarion SRU1720
I don't care about looks just sound

I'd be shocked if you noticed much difference.

Just swap them out and have a listen. Probably take you 30 min and then make your own disision. You trying to snake the wife of the good stuff. Lol.

I heard the Ti comps on a sound board recently. I was very impressed.....but again, it was a sound board and not in a car.

I may be partial to the Xenon amps, but you shouldn't notice any difference.

I don't have fund to buy my wife a nice line level unit so she is getting my clarion amps.

now with that being said i will be using the 2 x100.2 i own. I have a jl dsp clean sweep so rca outs. i hae a lpl and rmd for the amps.

now if i use the x100.2 i don't feel i have the power to run my new clarions . so here is what i have on hand
1. 12" jl 12w1v2-4 in a pre made by jl ported box with grill
2. 2 12" 12w0v2-4 and i will get a box made (can do sealed or ported)

the x 100.2 i have is rated at 272 watt rms so let me know what you would do. im not worried about space so much i just like some clean bass

I use the real channels on my X100.4 to power my Xmax. More than enough bass for my needs. You won't be setting any records, but it sure sounds good.

I just bought a x200.4 so I will be sure to have the power
