Ever use a AVI sls300 12" sub--- great sub IMO

So i recieved a couple AVI SLS300 subs
they are Made in canada neat looking cone materail and carbon fiber dust cap.500watts. older 2001 production Made for 1 cub sealed with very clean sound and lowend bass.
So i put it in a pre fab sealed box. the sub has a 100 oz magnet large 2.6" 4ohm vc (so test sheet say 2.5")
I put it in my suv. I didn't adjust my clarion amp at all but i know its set at 27hz-85hz and will make clean power 460watts at 4ohm

so i turn the system on and found myself trying differnt music rap, dance, 80's, ect ect. this is all on my wifes ipod than radio and cds.

This sub reminds me more of the focal 38spl i owned. its fast clean and plays everything. It hits clean and very low with impact. I don't feel there is any peak in the bass just clean. not muddy kind of airry.

I bought them off ebay for $100 each plus 20 shipping. so i have to say this was a geat buy

If you listen to rap all the time you will need 2 or more but so far im super happy.

I let my wife go into the car as she owns everything that is in there i just need to take it out of my suv and put it in hers (we own the same car) She was so happy with impact on Michael Jackson and other types of music. she was in the driveway for about 20mins. (this was the longest time she has ever listen to one of my cars just to listen to the music)
I like the smaller box,super tight bass, great low end in the sealed box and just the way it sounds not sure how to say it

If you get a chance to pick on up i would say do it you will like the sound. very sq bassed
