Can someone help me price this amp?
I am selling a couple of things on Craigslist, this amp being one of them. It's a Phoenix Gold Ryval Designs a1.800d. I have no recollection of how much it was when I bought it and have no idea what to list it for on Craigslist. Would someone mind giving me a rough idea of where I should start?

Re: Can someone help me price this amp?
Not many people here use or are even fond of the Ryval series from what i have gathered. In fact, this is the first time i have even seen a pic of one on this site. I think the dislike stems from the fact that these amps were produced during a time when Phoenix Gold was at a low point as a company and was changing hands. As a result, they are looked at as being "not true PG" equipment and not desired by collectors which a lot of us are around here.
I am sure it still has some value, but i am not sure what that is. I have never bought/used any of this line.

Pretty much all of the Ryval amps bring under $200 ebay, so for a CL listing I'd start around $175 and expect it to sell between $125 and $150.
Being loud without good sound quality is pointless, but having good sound quality without being loud is also pointless.

Yes, I bought this amp forever ago, but I actually remember feeling kind of duped when I received it in the mail. It looked like some kind of knock off since it had some other company's name on it (of which I had never heard of).LowandLoud wrote:Not many people here use or are even fond of the Ryval series from what i have gathered.
