Difference between RDDP kit & SDT kit
Hi, I'm Nico and I'm from Belgium.
I'm the proud owner of a ZX950.
Now I'm wondering what is the difference between
a RDDP kit and a SDT kit.
Maybe someone has pics, so I can see the difference.
Is it possible to connect such kit to my ZX950

The RDDP kit comes with the R-link and the LED diagnostic assembly.
The SDT kit comes with the R-link and the SDT digital display.
Both kits plug into the RDDP port on the ZX amps however the R-link allows for the connection of both LED display and SDT at one time but they were never sold as a 3 piece kit. I suggest getting the SDT kit and then using this--

I think we've established that "Ka Ka" and "Tukki Tukki" don't work.

sorry for the delay, but here's the pictures you requested. first up is a basic Phoenix Gold RDDP KIT. The kit comes with an R-link box, short RDDP cable to run to amp, and a long RDDP cable that ends with a pair of three-color led's. One led monitors voltage while the other monitors the status and protection circuits on a titanium amplifier.

here in the instructions, you can see how every r-link box has two RDDP outputs so you could utilize an RDDP led and an SDT display to simultaneously monitor a single amp.

an up close shot of the r-link box.

and finally a shot of an SDT display. it's a green vacuum fluorescent digital voltage display that shines thru a blue gel. in addition to the voltage display there is a three-color led flushed into the trim bezel that monitors the protection status of a titanium amp. keep in mind that the vacuum fluorescent assembly is about 3 1/2 inches deep when locating display.

Thanks mate...
Better late, than not at all...
So, if I understand right,
the RDDP-kit = R-link + 3 LED's + wiring.
And when I also want a display,
I also have to buy the SDT...
Is it also possible to connect the SDT without the RDDP?

sure. you could hook just one sdt display to the r-link, or you could even do two sdt displays on the one r-link. i believe the whole idea behind the dual rddp output on the r-link is so you could have rddp status (whether led or sdt is your choice) back on an amp rack in addition to in the cab of the vehicle.
