fuse question
If I use a 60A instead of the recommended 50A on the zx500 side of my reactor should I be okay? I can't seem to find any where to buy one locally. ..

Re: fuse question
well it could possibly allow 20% more current into the amp if something were to go wrong. Short term - you should be ok assuming everything is wired right and the first fuse blew as a fluke/accident but I would order some fuses or make it a point to get the correct size asap.

Re: fuse question
10 amps is a fair amount of current.and when a second or less counts to possibly blowing up your amp.i would not exceed the manufacturers rated fuse size. Just not worth the risk IMO.

Re: fuse question
any shop/store will rape you on those. they are MUCH cheaper online and you can also get them with leds inside that light up when its blown to make it easy to tell. I bought a bunch of fuses for the values I needed online with the leds for 1/2 the price they got in the stores.

Re: fuse question
Wasn't it Eric D. who stated before to certainly not put in a higher fuse then 50A in a zx500 cause otherwise
something will likely fail ????
If you want to be better safe then sorry, look for a 50A fuse and you'll be fine........

Re: fuse question
its NEVER recommended to put a higher fuse then what is recommended by the manf. BUT with that being said, there might come a time when you only have a 10A higher rated fuse and if you must have it on then go for it. Again I would not recommend it because there was a reason the fuse blew to begin with and if you do not have that problem fixed you might let the magic smoke out of the amp...
