Hey all long time no see!

So.. I got this brand new M44 that a buddy of mine Found on our local. Dude said it was tested working and was going to use it in an install. This never happened and here we are years later. The 2 matching transceiver and receiver also apart of this package are well non working demonstration models too. (working... right!)

I have owned 40+ various Phoenix gold amps and I have never seen anything like this or seen one in person. These must have been privately handed out to big reps to show off Phoenix gold products to stereo stores.

This is really a rare piece the m44 sink is 9.5/10 in condition the board must be some sort of prototype board as it has no serial or pg etching at all. The other two pieces do have pg markings on their boards.

I was thinking that this might be an early prototype version of a final M44 build prior to retail release?

Anyone have any input let me know!

Simply display units, the shells can be used for those ugly pg's.

I highly doubt you will get much power out of that M44...

Are those the TBAT that were listed on DIYMA? I was going to purchase them for the low listed price but the seller never PMed me...glad I didn't. Like I stated those would be perfect for a fugly M44 or TBAT. Other than that they are beautiful display items that would go nicely mounted on a wall.

I doubt its the same ones, my friend has them and is sitting on them till he can find "ugly" ones to shell swap. He is putting together a PG system so I don't think he would be selling any PG stuff atm :)

And Eric.... That's the new invisiguts version. Oh and no leaking caps either!

I'll bet someone has an m44 with a badly burned board that is willing to swap over all of the components to a new unused board.

Great score for a collector, not so much if your friend actually plans to use them.

I got lucky enough to pick up the TBA1 from the DIYMA member for a fairly cheap price, they are both in mint condition (w/original box and manual). Got lucky, hope it isn't an empty board like the ones posted here, lol.
