I have 3 jl tw subs
they are dvc 4ohm
now
my amp is a audison sr1dk
1ohm stable does 1200w rms
2ohm is 900
4ohm is 600
if I ran my sub to a .7 ohm load would the amp have problems? now with that being said I would turn it down as that is more power than I need or do 2.7 ohm load and run the unit a little harder
lmk
I know its the lower end of a great brand of amps so I feel it could and will do ok on the .7 load

I would run the 2.7 myself. Just because it might run at .7 doesn't mean you should do it.
Those three subs, even at 600rms is going to be plenty loud. And if you think you need better after that, try a ported enclosure vs the sealed your used to. A base cube will make a big difference in your low end as well for your type of music.
I'm willing to help if you need/want. Lmk

Thanks I should get almost 800watts at 2.7 ohm and it will be easier on the amp
I have concidered a bass cube but the ones on ebay will not ship to canada
And I can't justify spending 240 us plus shipping on one from here

funny thing is jl has not listed ported boxes for these subs
the amp is 600rms at 4 and 940rms at 2 so I should see 750ish maybe a little more that will be fine
