Hair tricks

Post by Wigzter »

So exactly what does it take to do a hair trick?

I'm pretty sure that I don't have what it takes with my Ti2 setup but do you think a couple of Elite.12d's have enough power to do it? That's my next planned upgrade is an Elite.1 and a couple Elite.12d4's when I get around to saving enough cash for it. But I still got an engagement ring I'm currently saving for before I can do all that.

Anyways, what kind of setup do you have? Is it possible inside a trunk?

Short answer......No.

You might could do it with an Elite.1 and (8) Ti2 12's, but definitely not a pair of Elites. Really, you're probably going to need a bunch of 15's.
Being loud without good sound quality is pointless, but having good sound quality without being loud is also pointless.

I don't think it can be done unless you do a wall and a couple 18" subs. But I've been proven wrong a lot. Lol

Yeah that's what I'm talkin about VW lol.

Hmm yeah maybe I'll pass on trying to do that kind of thing for now haha.

I need to really work on getting the Elite.12d's going, those subs are so sexy.

Or just put 32 amps and 64 10" subs in a bronco. I mean how hard is that? Oh yea, and fill the doors with cement.

This I ridiculous it does not take that much to do a hair trick. I very violent one will take a bit but, you can do hair tricks with 2 12's. I'm not talking anything crazy, just a more relaxed one. I was able to do that with my two eclipse ti's on an aq2200d. To do a pretty decent one you just need the right equipment and tuning. If you're running 3k or more and barely can move hair then something is wrong. Hitting a 160 is a lot harder than 32 amps and cement doors.
