I have a elite.5
With using that amp would you
Use the amp bridged and use the pg xover
Or
Forget the pg xover use front for the mids and rear tweeter
Or
Just use the xover and use the rear channel for mid bass sub
Or
Forget mid bass drivers and use the rear channel for rear speaker
Im using 3 tw3 10" shallow subs

I am using a .5 and a .2 to try and fill in a nice mix with my 9-5-1 3 ways and not sure what sub yet. I hope the fronts will be ok with Elite 6 and 1(old school morel) in the kicks and a 9" in the door. I know it would be hard to tell a difference and a lot of artists play low freqs in mono anway but I want too keep the 9s in stereo so they are playing off the .2. The sub of the .5 will go I am thinking now to some Ti 12s, dunno still just need to get it rolling...

Do you have room to run ti9? My exp with the old elites is the mids don't last long playing mid bass at high volume by themselves. Spider gets weak and the surrounds come loose. ...sound great doing it though.
If you have room I would run the mids and tweets off the passive on the front and ti9 off rear

Yes I have enclosures built for the already, just need to finish the door panel over them. As for longevity well at the moment I have 3 pairs, might go down too 2. But subs I am not sure about I have 3 10 rsdc and we all know they get down but idunno kinda want too do something fun.

In my set up the mids will be 90hz and up so that should not beat on them?

I would play the mids lower, like to 75hz. That's just my opinion but I really like how mids sound playing that low (when they are capable of it). I think my dyns are rated to 55hz and I have them crossed at 65 or 70. Anything higher and the sub seems to be covering too much ground.

that is the reason when the pg/rane 1-off x-over was for sale I jumped on it. its selectable for all 3 channels so it will be tweeked too perfection. the sub will be controlled between the sub output and the bass cube

90hz and up should be fine, just look at them move when you do your tuning and make sure they are not moving to crazy
with a spare set no worries
