thinking of running a BG neo planer driver in my truck

Post by hawaiianbasshead »

I want it on the dash with zeropoint mids as a front stage. any comments?

I think they can probably get loud and they supposedly have unrivaled sq?

the 8" one goes to 200hz, but I'd cross it higher and I'm now thinking maybe 4 5.25" zp mids on the dash and a pair of BG neo 3's or maybe a pair of neo 8s down the line?

any comments. I'm mostly going for output and it must be audible!

many many users of them in cars

the neo 3 seem to kick the sit out of every other ribbon which tripple in price....lyc is the only one I see as competing w/ its super FR from 15khz on up
Can one send others to war if hes not willing to go himself?

I was thinking about getting some of those, but I just never seemed to have the spare cash when they were available. I use ribbons in my house system, and use to use RS ribbons way back in 84 in my car of all places. Nice sounding but not very durable back then. :)
