Component set poll

Hey guys,

I need some suggestions on a good component set.

Im running active 3way in both cars. But im redoing the older 4runner i did years ago. Which is in the install threads. But im getting a bit more serious with this install as itll be strictly sq.

Give u an idea, its a pioneer premier deh-880prs (3way active output), tld 66, then a ti600.2 for sub to a id idq 12", then a ti500.4 for mids and highs. Front channels will be highs only 2 and then the rear driven at 2ohms each for mids.

Any help would be great! Yall helped with the first install w the rsdc i reinstalled in the newer 4runner which is phenominal.

Also im more focused on getting really good punchy mids and i can dial down the highs if they are too bright. Plus the mids will get 2x the rms as theyll be at 2 ohms.

Please explain why u prefer the ones u suggest.

Btw i dont wanna break the bank either.

I would look at the 3 way set of ppi cheap and sound great. Or I would get a set of pg rsd mids tweeter
They are cheap to buy get loud

I have a 6.5rsd set in my newer one now and love them, but they are harder to come by new now

I had the hertz hsk163 3 way set in my 98 runner. Huge mid bass and the 3 and tweet keep up. Slight spacing of the window track to fit them. Not a big deal. Around $500 on eBay. If interested I can check what I can get them for at my old shop and see if it's cheaper with shipping.
