Signal output

Hey guys,
I need some opinions and why.
So my hu is a pioneer premier deh-p880prs.
Its signal output is 5V. I have an ac epicenter160 it has an output 13.5v. My pg ti amps only take up to a 6v.
My question is, should i use one of my tld66 to gain that 1 extra volt in to increase the effieciency of my mids and highs amp?

I say minimal gain. Not unless you want to use it to look cool. FYI I have no prob using stuff to look cool.

pioneer deck have that kind problem look it up on grounding the rca
or remove a item than try another
you will see nothing on 1volt and the tld66 will not get rid of the hmm
items to look at rca on deck
rca cables
separate units
im sure its the deck but lmk

Art I disconnected the TLD, it makes such a huge different in output. Before I could turn my volume to 27 and it was perfectly loud enough. But now I gotta turn it up to about 50-54 to get the same volume. Obviously a tld is a signal amplifier. But I dont run my system to clipping. But I figured the tld would drive my amps to drive my amps more efficiently. But I do like making my system looking cool too thou.
Mike, what problem are you talking about with the rca's. There doesnt seem to be any issues with my sound except a slight hiss when the volume is high.
But the volume output on the HU seems actually pretty low.......Does anyone have any suggestions.

Mike is talking about the pico fuse,....which is the ground part of the RCA. This is not the case.

You are driving them at the same efficiency. With the pld you are ampingthe mid vol voltage to max. Without the deck gets to the same voltage at a higher number. I like being able to go to the higher number because it's a smoother vol increase from number to number. So basically you hit say 6v both ways it just takes more on the deck without the pld.
