RSDC Sub cone separating from surround
Like the title says, one of my RSDC 10" subs has the cone separating from the rubber surround- any suggestions for glue? I've used rubber cement before on 6.5s where rubber surround has separated, but wondering if there is a " thinner" glue suggestion, since people see your subs when u pop the trunk~ thanx in advance

This glue works great on rubber or foam. I've used it on 4 subs so far and it does the job.Local company too!

Re: RSDC Sub cone separating from surround
Well, I read another post where another member had used clear fingernail polish to fix his surrounds,& we'll, I tried that& it seems to be working @ the moment

I would think that polish would be a bit too ridged when it dried myself.

Re: RSDC Sub cone separating from surround
I usually used it to patch a hole in a surround. Like if a drill gun slipped. I don't think I ever used it as glue. Good to know. It's lightweight and stays flexible. You may need to reapply every few months but I'm not sure.

Re: RSDC Sub cone separating from surround
problem is being nice and thin if it get too far down on the surround when it dries its not going to let it move. I would prefer a silicon myself as it will not run down and remains soft.
