Yep you see it! My new unicorn! A matching black Zx500v2 for the the blk zx450v2 u know i have!

Im so freakin stoked guys!!! I have the main components for a sq build ive been wanting to do.

Its not some of the limited amps u guys have but to me these are my unicorns and rare enough.

My front stage is not done yet, but will be three way ti9, ti6 and ti1 tweets in front doors and ti5 comp set in the kicks.

I will justin!.actually im working a deal w an employee for his sons old car. Its a jet blk ford probe gt.

His son did a lot of great stuff to it and i need a decent sporty car for dd thats decent on gas. I have 2 4runners and they both SUCK on gas.

But the probe has 90k original miles and its has full blk leather, ground kit, v6 dohc, headers full cat back, brembro brakes and a gt 5.0 ecm in it. Its actually stupidly fast for a v6 and a hatch back so its perfect for a tinkering dd!

Sounds like you got a sweet old school car that just needs a good sounding stereo system! If the probe is the second gen then I love it. I always liked the way those probes looked. Really wanted one of those back in the day. Those black amps will look very nice in the back of that car.

I know u do drock, just keep a set to the side for me, i just spent $800 on this and another pg amp ti800.1 so im a lil strapped right now. But im sure ill be hitting u up soon.

Justin & drock it is a second gen probe. This thing looks really nice just needs the roof recleared. Once him and i strike a deal ill be posting pics dont worry.

I want a pair of ti800.1's again. I was stupid and traded mine awhile back. Maybe after Christmas I'll be on a ti binge again.

nice........... i got exactly the same of both....both new in 1998.... enjoyed them for 10years along

with a black zx350.......

if both amps are recapped you're fine......and new cooling paste also on the fet's / transistors.....

one main thing about the zx amps is, that after some years, setting back the bias to a good level is

a must and will be a notable difference........

but don't touch if you don't know what you are doing......

Nice amps. I want those at some point as well, but every time they come up for sale they are offered at stupid high prices for ZX amps.

Even though it's a ford I do like the 2nd gen probe.

was the engine in the probe a Nissan engine I think the first gen were. my buddy had the 2nd gen. had a lot of problem with the block the spark plugs kept popping out

First gen was a Mazda motor. I've had 4 of them. The 2.2L 4 cyl turbo was a blast. Nice amps by the way. If your probe is fac amped it is behind the pass plastic next to the rear 5x7 speaker.
