Elite.4 question

I sold my Elite.4 to Wooferdog here on the Phorum today- he just called me a little while ago and said , even without Rca input, he's hearing a turn off pop on a bench , using a deep cycle battery?!
I have used aDD10 for ten years, and have it set to 2 milliseconds delayed on/off- I've never heard any pop on/off noises with this amp, or my ti500.4, ti21300.1, ms 275, ti400.2- any ideas? I asked him to try it in" real world" set up- is it possible its b/c of the deep cycle battery? What could it be? I've never sold a " bad" amp to anyone, so now I'm CONCERNED, & hoping once he puts it in his truck this week it doesn't " pop", wether being turned on or off, any thoughts??????

Thanx mike, I was thinking the same, but he told me he unhooked the road, and still has a turn off pop, which I don't know how u hear that????? Unless it's relating to him using a deep cycle battery as his power source- real world, in my car, I had NO ISSUES

I know just having a battery and a car charger is super hard on the amp and will cause a lot of problems
The amps use a ton of power so im sure its fine he just need to install it properly

Just wanted to update this. The battery I use is fully charged and not on the charger when testing.I put the amp in my truck today and it still pops thru all 4 channels when it powers off.I had it running the front stage,no subs.It pops even with the rca's unhooked and crossovers off amp gains all the way down.

Nope, all mine are clean.
Last time I had this issue it was a ground problem.

Nope, does it with or without the gain control. Does it with just speakers connected and rcas can be in or out. I did try just subs and still get the turn off noise on all 4 outputs.I put my MS 275 back on and completely quiet turning off or on. This is a problem with the amp itself.

No chance its the install /grounding.

Nope,I have been installing for over 25 years and when you get the same issue on a test bench and in the vehicle it's the amp.
