Introduction + question regarding MS-275

Hi all.

First of all - let me introduce myself.
As you might have figured out - my name is Kurt - and living at the westcoast of Norway (not too far away from Pedi's place).

And it was a visit to Pedi's place some months ago that convinced me to continue the carstereo hobby (I've been out of this game since the mid 90's). Pedi showed me all the good old PG stuff he's been collecting over the years - so; here I am :o

I've been reading this phorum alot, and learned alot. I've successfully recap'ed both of my MS-275's based on the guides here - and 3 more amps on it's way.

So to the question:
My 2 MS-275 (rev G & H), have different bottom plates when it comes to the wiring diagram (polarity L+R (and bridge)

If you look at the pictures - both amps shows + - + - L & R channel, but when flipping them over the plate on the rev H is showing me - + - + ??

The SN matches the SN on the printboard.

Anyone know about this?

LOL typo ...only way to know for sure is to see where the speaker wires from the terminal inside go to (two of them go to the signal ground...the two in the middle should be it).

The side covers are correct...outer left is positive while outer right is negative...two inners are signal ground (remember one channel is inverted for mono operation).

I'll have to check them both - again :P
Better keep this one I think. Didn't know that PG made mistakes - hehe

Welcome Kurt. Wow, I didn't know that PG was so popular in Norway.

I haven't gotten into MS amps yet, but that's a very interesting find. I would have to believe that PG didn't just silkscreen one like that, there must be a batch of misprinted amps out there.

Yeah but who looks at the bottom diagram when hooking up the amp and having the silkscreen panels.

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

Not a big deal - but wanted to know if this was a common issue

PG typo's ARE a common issue. Their literature is littered with typo's.
