RDDP / SDT Digital display red light.

As per the title one of my two digital guage has a red light and the other one in the trunk has a blue light!!! Anyone knows why could that be? See pic.

Nope. Actually I have two digital gauges per amps. One of the two guages has a blue light and the second guage has a red one. I'm trying to figure out if the guage is faulty.

Have you tried switching the faulty display to a different R-Link to see if the problem goes away? Red means over voltage which you aren't getting at 12.3 volts. It's been a while since I've owned an SDT display, but I believe you could adjust them on the back to display the correct voltage. Try playing with those.

it is a red/blue light that is supposed to show the thermal situation of the amp. There is a wire that is grounded in the cat5 cable going to it.

Cat 5??? The 8 wires / telephone plug??? Also just did a guage swap with the guage on the right and it's definitely not wiring because the middle guage is now indicating blue and the "defect" one that has been move is still indicating red. So I really think it's guage related.

Sounds like maybe the led got installed backwards at the factory. Assuming the common leg is in the middle. Not sure, I've never had one apart.

Well finally got to it and yep the tri-LED was installed backwards. Turned it 180 degrees and went from red to blue!
