That seems steep.

I assume your talking about the one for $1600 on eBay. That seems steep to me as well. But you can ask whatever you want. My thought would be $400-800 depending on condition and box. Could be more or less than that too. I wouldn't mind finding a kinda beat up cheap one to match my 1000.2. And refinish them like I did my zx/ti amps.

My 1000.2 is heavy. Thing is a monster. Heads up the LEDs are mounted to the top panel. I'm sure you've opened one up before though

I have found a NIB (supposedly) Ti900.7 for sale and he is asking $1000. I have contacted him but no reply yet.

I don't think I would go over $300 myself I mean you can get ahold of a LE amps for $4-800 and I don't think this amp is in that relm.

Your kidding right?
If a 800.1 can go for 250-300 easy, then how can a 900 7ch go for the same price? The 900.7 is the same length as the 1200.1 , 7" longer than the 800.1. More channels pretty much always means it costs more to manufacture/design/components, to be honest I can't see a 900.7 going any less than 500.00 especially if its in mint condition. 1k for a new one might be a bit too much. You would be pretty darn lucky to find one for 300.00 that's great to mint condition.

I thought they never went over that well because of some kind of problem that developed shortly after they were powered up if used?

Well in that thread someone butchered a 900.7 power supply, and if the repair tech knew what he was doing then he would of looked at the originals left on that board since he didn't ask for all 12 fets in the PS. Also just replacing the fets doesn't always repair the PS sometimes the predrivers have to be replaced along with the PWM IC. Then someone else in that thread mentions a butchered 900.7 that has been used as for parts and missing quite a few for 200.00.
I wouldn't just go off of those two units, now if I was to see four or more threads all with the same issue then it would be clear they had problems. Can't blame the amp if someone did a hack job and installed the wrong fets and expected it to work.

I will take every $300 Ti900.7 you can send my way Scott. Keep em coming
I would have reluctantly paid the G if i had to for a true NIB one, but would have preffered a little less. Alas, the guy didnt even have the decency to respond. Oh well, Ill buy something else. There is no shortage of sweet gear to be had.
