Not PG: What is the best way to control actuators..

Post by onecrazy95civic »

Hello everyone,
I'm curently using Select Products actuator controller boxes to control my actuators, but to be honest they are not that reliable. So I would like to know if any of you guys have expertise on how to fabricate/wire a 12V linear actuator using relays and limit switches.

Thanks

You can use relays and ball detents. The detents would have to be mounted some where or the can be mounted on a aluminum tube with a rod in side notched out for the ball of the detent to drop into and you hook the rod to a cable like a shifter cable and hook the other end to what ever you are moving.not sure if that makes any since it is what we use for self centering the rear steer on monster trucks.I will see if I can get a picture.....some one else might have a better way or know of a module.

I could draw you out a simple relay limit switch setup if you want. Maybe even timers if you want. A dei 530t might work as well.
