What's up fellas?
So I read through a bunch of old threads on these pc 15's & 20's and I'm still unsure of the final verdict. It looks like the pc 20 is for sure dangerous, but I'm getting a little mixed info on the 15.
Sounds like the alumapro insides are more reliable and safe but it sounded like some of you would still steer clear of using any of these. I have an opportunity to get one locally for $130. I'd like to add this in line just for the b2 audio sub amp. Is this a mistake? I already have a ho alt(200 amp), big 3 upgrade, and two xs2400 power cells feeding my system. My build is the cummins pickup truck in the install section. I would like to get your opinions on this.

Thanks,
Ben

I have a power core 15 it works great. Alumapro make a great carbon cap. I had to add a solenoid to cut the cap from the battery, it wants to drain the battery.

I love my pc15's, but I make sure I check my caps regularly.

I passed on this one. The buss bars were corroded and the black box was cracked inside. The guy was pissed when I said I couldn't buy it. I offered to put itback together and he basically told me to scram. haha oh well I'm not buying junk.

Naw, people don't take any responsibility for their actions. He has something that he can get money for so he will sell it. Hopefully nobody gets injured with it, but in all honesty, he could sell it to a collector and it might never see power again in it's life...we can only hope.
