On Thursday, April 30th Aleks from Altser passed away suddenly at the age of 45 from a suspected heart attack. He leaves behind a wife and four children who are devastated by this shocking loss. Aleks was loved by many for his kindness and compassion for others. He was a wonderful husband and father and raised four incredible children that have shown amazing strength during this difficult time. He loved the Phoenix Gold community and worked tirelessly to provide exceptional service to each customer because he considered each customer his friend. Aleks leaves our hearts aching with grief but filled with wonderful memories of times spent together as a family and as friends. We ask that, if you are able, to help raise money for funeral expenses by going to either
http://www.gofundme.com/tgusqg or donating directly to his PayPal account which is
info@altser.com
If you have sent in an item for repair or have purchased an item recently we ask that you be patient while we can sort out the inventory. Don't hesitate to send an private message on this forum if you have any concerns, it may be a few days until we sort out the details but we will get back to you.
We ask that you keep his family in your prayers and greatly appreciate any support!

Even though I never met Aleks and he never worked on anything of mine, my heart aches for his family.
Thank you for posting a link of where to donate to, when I heard the horrible news I hoped there would be a place to donate to.
We have lost a great man and a pioneer in our hobby. My love and prayers go out to Aleks family.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts, Aleks would have been overjoyed to hear them. We have now updated his website to reflect the news. Thank you for those who donated, your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated by his wife and children as they struggle to adjust to life without their loving husband and father.
