This MS 275 needs caps but do I use paste back on the heat sink or get rid of the black plastic and use new sil pads ? Thanks

Either way is fine. Looks like you have a late revision so that's how it came, I'd stick with the paste then. I usually try to put it back how it was from the factory.

this is the latest revision of the ms275.........so the best revision......
the black metal sheets are the same used in the Original ms2250 and M100....
it will transform the heat better into the heatsink.....
so unless you want to use the black cooling sheets in another amp,
i would hardly advice to let them into this amp....just clean up the old paste and
put in fresh one...........
this works way better then silpads...... in the other revisions there are silpads.........
so my advice...........;new paste , leaving in the black sheets.....................;

I used stuff from Antec. It's pricey but it works well for me and it comes with a convenient applicator.
