Hello members,
Is there anyone who can help me with a question :
Which line driver will make my ZPA0.5 perform better,TBAT2 or PLD1?and why?The ZPA0.5 will push a FI SSD 12" sub @ 4ohm.
I already have an upgraded PLD1(BurrBrown opamps),but don't know the real difference between TBAT2 and PLD1....
If the TBAT2 will be better,i will look after one,so if someone have a TBAT2 for sale and willing to
ship international(Europe),let me know please.
Thanx in advance
Regards
Brian

Re: TBAT2or PLD1
Educated guess: The balancing act would be better vs the pld1.
The pld1 ups the rca voltage to 8 and shoots it down the RCAs to the back/gear that you're using.
Balancing act has a sender/receiver, with a balanced cable connection between the two. The receiver portion will be outputting an 8volt rca signal, nearest your gear at that point.
From what I've read, the balanced cable, with a sender/receiver just sounds like a better "connection". Less prone to picking up noise. The PLD1 would be great as well, but the quality of RCA cable connection would come into play.
If what I've written here doesn't sound right, someone else will correct me and educate the both of us
