god I am so happy it made it there safe. I was dreading the idea of you getting a crushed heap of cardbaord/metal/wood. I did a lot of the xmax in sealed boxes and normally went closer to the smaller side and was still always happy with them. The base cube can help to dial in some low end if the box needs some help.

that xmax 12 V2 will sound the best in a vented 2.25cu ft, 4inch x 13 inch vent.........

double the output then a sealed box, and it is going low as hell......

use the basscube for extra output.........

i have build and tested those boxes myself.....so i know......

its been a long time since I built a box for an xmax but when I did if it was sealed I always made sure the volume was correct assuming that there was space. Now I can't remember ever doing a single in a hatch though and I say "when there was space" because the one system I did with xmax that I remember had 4 of them, each pair of a zx600. The boxes were built for pairs and one was behind the seat facing back and the other we put in the spare tire well. The spare tire box came out a little small so we inverted the subs to maximize it and the results were one of the loudest systems I ever built. I remember it was the first one that could blur my vision a bit. He said he wanted big bass and he got it so 3 month later when his trunk locking mechanism had failed and he could not open it, I thought it was a success...

I will do 1.something plus a little polyfill so i guess it would be like the 1.4 good bad or other smaller is easier? But my power is set at 428watts 4 ohm as my birth sheet said
