Xenon X1200.1 in Protection Mode

Post by AVICJR »

I'm having my trunk re-done and somewhere in the process my X1200.1 went into protection mode (blue LED blinking). Everything was fine prior to the new work. Amp has no load. Any idea why this may be happening?

Thanks in advance.

Blue LED lights to indicate
the amplifier is on. The LED
will blink in 1 second intervals
if the amplifier goes
into protection mode. This
usually means the amplifier
is in need of service or a
grounded speaker wire is
present in the system.

Doubt that one of the outputs went out by simply removing it and then re-installing it. But if any loose strands of wire fell inside the amplifier then all sorts of problems can be caused..
