Elite.2 2 Ohms Mono

Will an Elite.2 amp do 2 ohms mono? I have a dual 4 ohm Elite sub and I may need to acquire a new amp. Thanks in advance.

According to the Elite manual and tech sheet, it will do 1000watts @ 2 ohms mono and will be safe to run at that impedance.
