Don't take advice from someone who mentions "I think I know" or "I don't know what these other functions are for this multimeter"...lol.

Also the reason it fluctuates is because of air, the doofus has the ceiling fan on which is enough air to cause a change in dc resistance on any meter and driver. DC resistance gives you a good idea what the impedance of the driver is but keep in mind the amplifiers signal is AC therefore you would need a fancy LCR meter that has multiple testing fhz settings (such as 60hz,100hz,120hz,1khz that way you can get a pretty accurate impedance load at those certain fhz points.

I turned it off when he couldn't find the ohm rating for the JL woofer... Dreadfully done.

^^LOL yep...had D4 written all over it. This will give you a rough idea if the voice coil is not burnt and reading a dead short or open (both a good sign that the sub/driver is toast).

Dude has 7k subscribers, I can only imagine how many I would have if I would do some simple educational vids...

My jaw dropped when he showed the multimeter and said "you push these things in".

They are 'test leads' my dear video man... lol

I am willing to bet he has another awesome vid to show how to use that meter to adjust the gain on your amp.
