How do you set the Elite's 5passive crossover tweeter level?

Post by ericb »

I have the Elite 5 component set. I don't use the PG's tweeters. I use the old infinity EMIT ribbon tweeters. I recently installed the Rockford fosgate TI15004 amp on them. there is too much tweeter output coming out of them now. I bought the amp to power my other mid and highs not my PG's components. I was running them through a zx450, but the rockford amp was so huge that I had to take it out.

anyway I know that there are level controls for the resistors on the passive crossover for the tweeter. however PG doesn't include any info on how to set them (PG has a history of being vague on their superior products). do any of you guys know?

I think you have to pull out the jumpers located next to the speaker terminals located on the outside of the case.

Welcome btw :D

I don't remember, try pulling them out and listen for any differences in output.
