Bourns Pots for ti500.4

Post by macky322 »

I realized my ti500.4 is a little different as far as the pots.

Has anyone sourced the gain and bass boost pots? 10k and 50k?
or the click pots for the crossover selector?

The Pots for the crossovers are 8 gang. The Bourns part is PTD908-1015F-B103
Please note the 1015K is the knob with the slotted end which is not available.
The 1015F is a flatted metal shaft and would probably work just as well.
Figures the lead time is 16 weeks and these wont available till June 2020.

The one in the picture is correct. I replied to your fb post, but the part numbers you posted there came up as a different style. I'm not sure now if my input got auto corrected, it what happened, but anyhow, I posted the part numbers there. You but then in single gang and just install as many as you need. These are in stock at Mouser. PT10MH01-103A2020-S & PT10MH01-503A2020-S. The 50k is linear taper and the originals were anti-log. Linear taper will work fine, it's just not going to have the same response curve through the gain adjustment.

As for type, these are only really widely available in carbon track and 20% tolerance. You do want to keep ganged pots as tight as possible (tolerance wise), however, since 20% are all that's readily available, I just buy a crap ton of them and sort them.

Good luck,
Jason
