SOUNDSTREAM REFERENCE 700SX cosmetic resto
Hello guys & gals. I have a pretty decent old school amplifier collection. One of my amps is is need of some restoration to bring it back to it's former glory. I have a Soundstream Reference 700sx that is fully functional, but could use some cosmetic touches. namely the BATT/GRND/RMT block and the screws for both it and the channel terminals. That's really about it, but I'm having a REALLY hard time finding parts for these amps. Anyone help a brother out? Thanks in adnvance.

Re: SOUNDSTREAM REFERENCE 700SX cosmetic resto
There used to be a guy on eBay, worked for SoundStream back in the day and still does service and sales of hard to find parts. His name is Jamie, but I don't recall his eBay contact info. I think a Google search for his name and SoundStream might get you in the neighborhood.
That said, you're pretty unlikely to find the exact screws SS used. The flat blade head set screw is a pretty unusual combo. You can buy socket head set screws (Allen type), remove the head and slot them with a slitting saw or even a Dremel. Getting them gold plated is harder, but I have some minimal gold plating equipment and could help you if this is really something you want to spend money on.
Most people end up using commonly available socket head screws in either stainless or carbon steel. There is a very slim chance you may be able to find them in brass, which polishes up nicely to match gold plating, but they are not going to stand up to a lot of real world use in those locations.

Oh yeah, I also offer all of the plastic insert pieces as 3d printed replacements. They don't exactly match the stock white, so you would need to replace them all
