Hi all,
I have a PG Ti21600.5 and my RBCF Remote Bass Level Controller wiring has completely failed at the solder points.
I am trying to solder it back together and have no problem performing the task of soldering, but i cannot find any information on the correct wire color for each of the prongs.
There are 4 wires (Red, Green, Black, White) and 3 solder points.
I found a wiring diagram for the LPL44 which has a yellow wire instead of a white wire. I tried to wire according to that diagram and was unsuccessful. I've also tried random combinations without success.
When i connect the red and green wires together, i get 100% attenuation and when i touch the white wire with the red wire the speaker pops and scratches as the wires rub.
I contacted PG technical support , and they were unable to provide the information.
Can anyone here help me out?
Phoenix Gold RBCF Remote Bass Level Controller Wiring Repair
Re: Phoenix Gold RBCF Remote Bass Level Controller Wiring Re
Please upload a picture of the modular end of the cable. Take it from above so I can see which colors are in which positions. These level controllers are not the same as the Lpl44 ft bass cube and they bring one of the 15v supply rails out to knob. There is a chance you've already done permanent damage to the amp by randomly shorting wires together.
Thanks,
Jason
Thanks,
Jason
